Jeff Persyn, a native Houstonian, has been with The Appelt Company since 1999. He oversees all construction, operations, and maintenance of the real estate managed by The Appelt Company for its owners. Construction activities range from grass root real estate developments to the management of tenant and capital improvements of existing commercial properties. Operation and maintenance oversight includes human resource management, marketing and leasing, financial operations and asset management, and legal and risk management.

Prior to working at The Appelt Company, Jeff worked in project management at Halliburton / Brown & Root for nine years. Construction projects at the engineering and construction firm included Minute Maid Park, the home of the Houston Astros, Duncan Hall on the campus of Rice University, and the Emergency Prison Project for the Texas Department of Corrections.

He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He holds an active Texas Real Estate License, a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Building Construction in 1991.

Jeff has put his work related knowledge and skills to use volunteering at his local church, Faith Bible Church, as an elder, building committee chairman, and finance committee board member.

Jeff and his wife, Adrianne, live in The Woodlands, Texas and enjoy spending the majority of their personal time with their three children.
